  • Mid Oregon Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our members. As the only credit union headquartered in Central Oregon, your deposits stay local—supporting the communities of Bend, Redmond, La Pine, Sisters, Madras, and Prineville.   • You are eligible to join if you live or work in, or your organization is located in, any of these Oregon counties: Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Harney, Wheeler, Grant, Gilliam, Sherman, Wasco, Hood River, Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn, Benton, Lane, Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson. Family and household members of eligible individuals may also join. Simply complete a membership application and deposit $5 into a Regular Share Savings Account, plus a one-time $10 new account fee.   • Yes! Your deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which is administered by an agency of the Federal Government.
  • We have eight full-service branches across Central Oregon: three in Bend (East Bend on Cushing Drive, Olney Avenue, and our Old Mill Branch), plus locations in Redmond, La Pine, Sisters, Madras, and Prineville.   • Mid Oregon observes standard Federal Reserve banking holidays, including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All branches and the Contact Center will be closed on these days.

  • Yes, many of our branches offer notary services for members. It's best to call ahead at (541) 382-1795 to confirm availability at your preferred branch location.
  • Our Switch Kit makes it easy! After opening your Mid Oregon account, use our downloadable forms to redirect your direct deposits, transfer automatic payments, and close your old account. We'll even buy back your unused checks and debit cards from your previous institution—up to $10. To switch Social Security direct deposit, visit ssa.gov or call 1-800-772-1213.
